To prevent the deep penetration of the staining substances it is recommended that sweeping or blowing the leaves off your paver surface regularly is your best defense.
Remove any solid buildup of concrete on the pavers with a chisel and hammer.
Place the chisel tip at the base of the concrete angled so that the chisel passes along the surface of the paver and not into the paver.
This is usually necessary when one paver or at most a few is severely damaged or stained.
