Select the floor or roof to modify.

This shape editing tools will not appear if you define the roof slope.
First activate add split line and draw the lines like below.
After you finish with the lines open default 3d view.
This is pretty easy to control.
Activate modify sub elements.
If you select relative new points will be added at the specified value relative to the surface on which they are added.
Click modify floors tab shape editing panel add point.

2 activate slope to create a sloped roof want to create a sloped roof.
In the option bar make sure defines slope is activated for boundary lines.
If you choose not to move the roof to a different level revit notifies you later if the roof is too low.
The elevation edit box displays on the options bar with a relative check box next to it.
If you try to add a roof on the lowest level a dialog prompts you to move it to a higher level.
Revit roof slope can seem complicated at first glance but by learning a few critical features you can create any roof shape you desire nbsp whether you want a double gable roof with 6 pyramid shaped dormers or a simple gambrel roof the basics remain the same.
You can drag any point in your roof and adjust the roof shape.
The revit interface is a bit unclear about constructing a flat roof but no roof is truly flat and creating a flat roof in revit allows the designer to annotate the roof without having to deal with the issues associated with the modeled hips and valleys of a low slope roof.
To turn a sloped roof into a flat roof select all roof boundaries purple lines and uncheck defines slope in the option bar.
